No Gods, No Masters - Daniel Guerin - An Anthology of Anarchism
DANIEL GUERIN was a life long radical and gay activist, and a prolific author. His works previously translated into English include Anarchism : From
Theory to Practice, Fascism and Big Business, and Class Struggle in the First French Republic.
Contrary to popular belief, anarchy is order; sharing many tenets with Buddhism, it strives to work with nature and not against it. The popular idea of lawlessness and chaos is a very long standing idea created by propagandists, a distorted idea surviving from the Monarchs people sought to oust from positions of authoritarian control.
Anarchy for me personally requires too much faith in humanity and remains an ideal, not that aspiring to ideals is a bad thing, we can learn much from it provided we aren't too quick to dismiss it as overly idealistic, or continuing to imagine it as chaotic and without order.
The short video below is an interesting discussion on the subject, as is the pdf format reading material above.
